This is one of the books of my  collection since  2+ more years.It comes from a malaysian imprint  of price  less than  6 Euros. I here wil describe   the book  by a 'technical' manner. Book  design and layout: This book  has a less than A5   design  of ca 148 pages with the use of quite thick doc paper  that makes a  9 mm  thick book. i.e. nearly  the double of the  standard  thickness book . Cover pages are glossy mat type   with some emoticon type or cartoon type  faces describing 8 of the 10  types of difficultpeople as described  in the book. The text of the book  is quite  loose with  nonstandard fonts of 1.5  line spacing  making 30 lines  per page.  First pages of each  chapter of the 12 included , are framed . other pages are not . This is the first book I ever read on history fiction. a  huge volume of 560 pages with  71  mini chapters in in its Greek   version marketed by the only Greek  pocket  book publisher Bell. This  is one of the books i bought  for the very ' high cost'  (hmmm) of  Eu 2 ,as the man who had it wanted to sell out his limited now  stock due to change of business , as mentioned in the previous blog postings  . Now after  reading the book  i feel  it is very well  underpaid comparing also  to the original american  book price of $17 as sold by Amazon and  the excellent at least  story . This story is really amazing . Will not dig into the story  as many others in Goodreads and Amazon UK and US  have  noticed but will stress on the  plot  and other  by- story material . This is another book  bought with the  low price of only $2 from the  old pal. Nothing more  on this to write  nearly the same  over and over again This a   voluminous book  from the store with ca 460 pages in a pocket format. this is the Odyssey of Charlie Parker  , a detective to find out a mysterious  disappearances  of children  several years ago and Daniel Clay a psychiatrist  involved in these  disappearances and  sometimes killings. The story seems  quite  interesting but more  detailed than i  could expect to the level of tiring me , with a quite complex story 3.5/5  a lively writing , thriller and sometimes horror

Steven KIng is for me a story of love ad hate . reading his  story on I shudder at your touch thrilled me very much so tat i stopped reading it as it goes against my beliefs .HIs other  book 'twilight zone stories' with 14 stories is better to me though  many of them are not easy to understand them , but Blaze  story was my first narration  that i enjoyed much , and was a idea to write  some short stories based on this character . This is one of the 6-7 books of Greek version  bought at  a low price . Blaze is a man adventurer with a pal who is his alter ego and boss  . This pal  dies and Blaze is determined to catch a  baby for money . This story  goes in parallel with his story when he was  a overgrown child of  limited  intelligence and how he grown as adventurer The story is a  bit funny and King makes you feel sympathy  to this bad guy. 7/10

Most of the novels read the summer time were bought from a pal's  store who changed his business style , from newspaper  to nuts . For this reason he tries to sell our his book stock offering it in vey low price  ie from $7  to $2 for  the greek  versions of pocket books > i have bought several of them ,around 6  ,most  are of terror and horror literature. All these books  are the greek versions  from the  Bell publishers the locales of the pocket books This book however  was bought from another  pal's  store at the normal price of $7 for the greek edition  which i think is still low  comparing to the  price offered by the original American publisher The Greek version of Ann mah's  book contains  250 pages with 43 lines of 10 picas Times font , and the same applies to all other editions and all book are bonded with a plastic cover to protect the casual viewer  to da...

  I have bought this book   this year from a former newsstand at   very low price  of just E2 out of E8 due to selling out the older book stock .the seller   has changed his business orientation onto   slling nuts and the same This is a book   with short stories from   many   well known (?) writers of terror including seven king   and Angela Carter . of a total of 22 stories . I have read the geek edition of this book printed here in 13 into 290 pages of A5 size and 10 picas . The conclusion of the reading was in just 3 days for a total of 7 hours Will not focus on the story itself but in the structure of the book Although the story seems   quite interesting and easy to follow and read the plot is quite simple that can be noticed in only one page or in just 35 lines with some secondary   filler points referred outside the ‘action’ , though   minimal,   of the story   The story is quit predictable and can be identified from nearly the start   of the book   ie from the   chart 8-9 which are the scenes of the story. Very many repetitions occur throughout the story that made me quite tiring and i preferred to skip them The story has not strong ‘shocks’   except some unexpected happenings   that cold still be easily   awaited (as for example a killing and a torture ) making the sto...

This is one of my smallest books bought in mid70s if I   still remember clearly and bought the time   I knew German language I learnt separately during   the low school in the German School .  The book   is just 4.8 x3 x2 cm thick   and contains about 10000 entries in 640 pages . Unfortunately I have forgot nearly all my German but I think that this small book can always stay   in my shelf   due to its very nice   dimensions

This One of my most interesting books of the past bought on 80s   it os a handy book of the world of ca a6 size  A small book of a 300 pages has nice maps but very condensed to the level   that my eyes cannot read ot without a magnifying lens . The fonts used   are between 2 and 4 picas See above on how  small are these fonts !  The book has also a concise map of the world as is shown in the above  picture On the end  of the book  there is a very condensed  index of cities around the world Again  ont size is very small , about 3-4  picas . In greece not only the biggest cities are referred but also some of the minor ! A nice and very concise travel guide for the whole  if still available !    

One of the oldest books  i have found and bought via the internet  from the  birth of my child . Mrs Borba is member of the advisory booard  of Parents magazine in USA and is the author of his very thick  book. This book  consists of ca 650 pages and is edition of 2009 In contrast to most  other children books it has a different  structure.  The book   is separated  in 9 parts ,each having its chapters (Q&As)  . Each chapter is 2-8 pages  depending on the weight  text . as  for example  the  subject  'angry'  is 8 pages long though 'separation anxiety'  is only 3 pages . O   μικρός     τύραννος The little  tyrant writen by Jirina Prekop short abstract in English  I know her  from another book  i had two years ago  called 'Schlaf kindlein Verflixt noch mal '  (google translation as 'Sleeping small child confound it ' )  form its Greek translation describing vey difficult sleep  situations . This second book was found after suggestions of a psychologist visiting the school  of our daughter. However this book was still on the same style as with the previous showing vey difficult cases as of autismic children  and same cases . What i didn't like was her concept of  holding therapy  ( Festhaltetherapie ) in a way that shows only techniques usd 50 or more years ago in Grece.
