Esposa de aluguel with the same title in Greek (spouse for …lending!  )

 

Recent release in Netflix and just watched. A Brazilian romcom with relatively simple story but with interesting plot.

In short a 30+ aged bachelor who uses a time schedule with female  relationships and ending them in due time eg 3 months before love starts etc recruits a rather unsuccessful standup comedian but nearly pro level actress to play the role of fiance before his mother dies

What will happen after?

Quite simple story but .. first with some humor without being too comedic The end is quite predictable. This simple plot thickens with his aggressive sister who wants to grab the mom's treasure tailing the fake couple and the relationship of Luis before Lina . His sister iwas very suspicious about the Lina Luis relationship from the start. 

Structurally there is the character development of Luis with his great love in cooking, LIna helped him to develop it  into catering  in the place she does her standby acting. Ther eare also some more minor devalopments 

IMDB funnies : The main actors are shown in the second line of the IMDB cast list . The first line shows two female actors in Luis ex-girlfrieds role

I really enjoyed this movie giving it a 7/10  for the total result.The moral is apparent as subtext.
