asking for your help: Model story

The text below fist appeared in one creative writing related  Facebook group but i have not received so many replies except a handful For this reason i post it here expecting  replies from the public .

In contrast  to what previously noticed I m now open to brainstorming from all folks in the web with the hope that many more people will help me. I hope  that the text is  as comprehensible as possible although it can still sound as broken English to some. Please notice that English is not my mother tongue!

Imagine that you are a very beautiful and lively woman, retired  but occasional model    Your body is still perfect. You don't work as your husband runs a very profitable business. You are 34 years old and care your young child and two young nieces and you love passionately your family.

Your close friend (a woman) runs a model agency and in a total hurry asks your help. Her best  model  has fallen from a ladder and  broken  her feet  .Your friend   has no  time to look for another model   as same night you  must  walk  on the stage in  a fashion show wearing  a queen dress. It is the best creature of  a famous fashion designer.  Your friend is very lucky as   the dress fits perfectly in your body.

       

   ....later...

You are now on the stage, dressed with  the queen dress and you 've just been called as the  queen of the show. Everybody cheers you for your high success , even your enemies . Your friend just told you that many people admire you mostly men She  holds  a microphone in her hands and is nearly ready to say goodbye  to anyone  attending the show   . As a new Penelope you have to think a smart idea to getting rid of all these  suitors (or say admirers)  without  insulting anyone.

        ... A few  seconds later ..

 Now  you are ready to amaze every one with your subtle wording. What you could address via the microphone?

Please notice that all ideas,  no mater if they are direct indirect or creative, are appreciated though some full passage of your addressing will be also quite helpful. Thank you in advance

FYI here i post all  responses received so far that might help you  find another and more subtle idea. Although none of them suit my character!

        Heya bud. Saw your post and thought I might lend a hand if you haven't already got one. You could have the character pitch the moment back to the model who was originally meant to wear it and say something along the lines of over crediting her might hurt the other model in some way.

        Or you could have her say something very feminist. It might chase away some of those 'fedora headed suitors' *.

        Or break away from the usual and have her say something completely whacky and zany....like "Damn those bourgeoisie!"

        A communist model is the last thing anybody expects. But that might hurt the plotting of your story as I picture whatever she says will be in the news to some extent and affect how the more gossip prone public views her. Best of luck.

        * i m not so sure what does he mean with this "fedora..." except that fedora is a hat  This man lives in USA

        Wow. I don't know. I'm not sure why she has to dispel the suitors. Penelope, yes. But your character? No. You need some kind of twist to force that situation, like a modeling contract or something.

        Maybe if she took the microphone and said horrible, insulting things to ward them off. Perhaps racist things? Or finally, she thanks her plastic surgeon for his excellent work?

        ....has said that this fill in performer could say thank you to the audience for enjoying her performance so much and that she is very grateful for being given the opportunity to fill in the act for the broken performer or actress and then go on to say that the broken actress gets well soon so she can return to her regular performances

        On the other hand, if this fill in performer is a real bitch and grabs every opportunity to steel an act to fill in for as long as possible and maybe even to oust the original actress then she may rebel in the limelight and say she would be happy to return to perform once again

        I believe she can simply say thank you and give a small speech on how lucky she is to perform on stage. Then to ward off her admiriers I believe she can slightly show off her wedding ring so people can see and get the message she is married and belongs to another man

        OK. Imagine that the model has the microphone in her hand, aware that many men in the audience admire her and are considering approaching her with their proposals. She is already married and very happy with her family. She takes the microphone, and with a smile she thanks the entire audience for their applause. "You have no idea how nervous I was," she says. "It has been many years since I retired from modelling to become a wife and mother, and I was not sure I was still able to do this. My husband is very supportive, and always makes me happy, and I offer my huge thanks to him for being so great" She looks to her friend, offering the microphone back, and takes a bow to the audience, noticing the disappointed looks on many faces.
