Review for anora /ani

A rather awkward  or awful movie tat that turns quite ‘awesome’. Not exactly that  but it is a word play.  I seen that with my wife a few days ago and finally after some ‘shock; in the start  of watching some hidden ‘pawn’ with players  doing  some pole dancing  the movie after   some love story  started  to twist     into a good action movie. The main guy Vania at 21 age with a very rich parents is very unmatured Russian bachelor preferring not to attend the school , and instead partying as much as he can. He met her  in a strip club where he shown his interest and finally they gone to las Vegas  where they officially married

The  story then gets a interesting twist when the apprentices of his father found him. He escaped them and a very ling chase started to find him.

I stop here the story and add that this part  tiull te end blends  sction wirh humor especially when Ani (Anora ) is a  ‘real tiger’ well and very assertive  character. I m impressed  on how these two guys tried to bend her with some .. telephone cable and got  well beaten. They can be described as the duo Stooges of the 60s showing a more comedian style  in the movie  . Later  the one of the two guys Igor not only mature but also empathic meaning he understand on how she feels.
These -Igor and Ani-  are the two best characters of the story and also the main characters  instead of Vania . I was also impressed  that  the person impersonated as his mother is a Russian actress even if she looks more as American with a very good English accent.

The movie surprise me that it won 5 awards  though I knew that before . I really cannot understand on how Mickey  could receive  the awards even with her overacting and talking dirty 90% of the time.
The story  drives too fast  that  really doe not permit any space for deeper  description from any of the characters.
7/10 My wife a soap opera fan  rated as (4/10).
