SR 2562 MP3 player 256 MB

SR 2562 MP3 player 256 MB Jan 27, '07 8:15 PM for everyone Category: Computers & Electronics Product Type: Other Manufacturer:   OSIO The above numeral seems not to correspond with any MP3 model found in the internet so I suppose it is named by our local importer. Two weeks ago we were the intermedaite to sugegst for a project that includes playback of speeches. I was a little disappointed that the local store did not make any deduction ever for such number… Its street price is just Eu 35 Its box uses a built in magnet for the opening-closure of the box. The player is put inside a b black plastic foil as shown in the picture .Under the plastic foil you can find two operating instructions booklets, a USB to Chinese mini-USB cable a mini CD and a battery. As you may see the model is quite sporty in contrast to our use. The cord includes a mini compass as ‘bonus‘. The battery is drained by the time. The model requested was 256 MB. AS it will be used speeches, it

Indonesian English Echols Dictionary

Image
Echols Dictionary Indonesian English Echols Indonesian   English dictionary   is possibly one of the best Indonesian   dictionaries > I had the second edition (a small   book of ca A6 size )   but on ca 2000 found the   third   edition which is much bigger than the previous . qnd here I make some comparisons The   second edition as above noticed uses   the old writing with dj and tj for j and c respectively Since I have gifted   the book 4 years ago to the library , I do not remember   its edition with less than 200   pages in total > I have found that there is a  fourth edition IN contrast the 3 rd   edition is much fuller also hardbound as the 2 nd with more than 600 pages of entries . You can find also all the   English relative words , many jawa and sunda  Except this , it is a typical dictionary . No info on the language or grammar .suitable for someone who knows a bit of the language as me.

Discipline  without shouting or spanking Jenny Wyckoff and Barbara Unell And something now very different now . This is a  book on how  to learn to your children discipline  the relatively easy way . Kuala Lumpur Melaca and Penang

Lonely planet Kuala Lumpur Melaca and Penang This was a  book I was  expecting  for some time  for helping a  feind of me and student , who was to visit Kuala Lumpur  for a summit together wit h some travel reasons in order to learn something from the city .  However the book  was tht time under  print . I did a pre order in one of the main bookstores in my city , and was arrived  ca 2 months after ! Anyway the book has  not been used so much until  writing this review (though still partially ….) This book has the  typical PL design format though  this new version has several  design modifications As for example  the cover paper is matte instead of plasticized For example on the  second and third sheet show a map of the region (W Malaysia ) and there are  small typo clouds  showing the picks  of the point There are (as with other books)  pictures of the top picks of the region . Some very ncie pictures show the Petronas towers , the KL Chinatown . The Batu ca

Women weekly    Malaysian  favorites This year ;looking for  something  easy for Malaysian  cooking  I was  quite much looking not only on the net but also on Amazon  for a small  but quite  easy book on Malay cooking . This book as advertized there was with the promise for easy and fast Malay cooking And really  this  book after received together  with a bunch of other cooking books in the June 12 order , can be deemed this way . as with most recipe books is a small less than A5 sized  books and fully colored with about 35 recipes , each of them shown in the one page and on the other with  the recipe Here are part of these  recipes : Hot and sour soup (hhm  yummy and my top Chinese dish made with nearly everything ) prawn laksa , curried lamb pastries , laksa  lemak , spicy fish  in banana leaves , rending , curry capitan (!!??), squid curry , beef stir fry with ginger (look at the photo , is the middle book receipe ), swordfish curry , mu

Indonesian dishes

Image
THE Chinese book for Indonesian dishes Don’t freak looking this book ! This is a bilingual book written  in Chinese and English with nice and delicious dishes  from Indonesia. It is one of my oldest  indo cooking recipes, possibly more than  15 years ago !! and it is written in HK For this  reason I m not sure when I bought it and how , though surely via letter . As with the Murdoch books this is also a pictorial book  with ca  40 recipes , Instead of Murdoch’s  (I will call here as M ) this book  ha a big photo on the right or the left pane which the opposite page  has the  recipe in bot Chinese and English . Instead of  describing you  the  contents I will show  you only  part of the  recipes : Indonesian baked fish with banana leaves (similar  to M’s fish in alu foil ) , acar , satay chicken , padang beef (close to rendang beef) padang chicken , pegedel  (with minced potato?), beef  soto (soup  with beef and veggies )gado gado (spicy salad with peanut sauce )

Colins gem M-E E-M dictionary (Eng Malay )

Image
COLLINS GEM MALAY ENGLISH ENGLISH MALAY DICTIONARY EJAAAN BARU This is my first ever Malay dictionary  bought from Collins in UK directly on early 90s  via lewtter As as fan of books  i know the company and  these dictionaries  from miid80s  as for that time i have bought the Greek version which is very handy and very practical due to its  small size  7 x 10 cm There is also a very funny case that i took with me on our trip to Bali on Sep 2000  Our host fir touring Bali was quite surprised looking at this ! (not even that i knew his main language  ) Now bavk to the dictionary . In contrast  to the greek version , this book uses bot only the ejaan baru (new speling )but shows also the use of vowels , the changes in consonant letters , the prefixes and suffixes again in the new system The next  chapter shows some grammatical information again with all pre- and suffixes  and their meaning , the numerals ( sowing : orang , ekor , buah , biji , batang, helai , keping ),

LONELY PLANET MALAYSIA SINGAPORE AND BRUNEI

Image
LONELY PLANET  MALAYSIA SINGAPORE AND BRUNEI As you may know Lonely Planet is one of the most authoritative  publishers of  tourist  books in earth . This  book (in contrast  to more  than other 70 countries ) did nt exist in the bookstore (Public) so I made  an order  via them on 2011. The  total time  was I think ca 1 week I Previously  found from the local market the book  for Bali/Lombok  we used during our trip on 2000 Now back to the book  with just a description of the contents This book is quite thick of ca 640 pages , with Malaysia contained in pages 89-490  for  Spore on 491-570 and for Brunei 571-594 First text pages refer to the latest political situation in Malaysia  till 2008-9 Then pages for itineraries 15 pages with history of Malaysia . But most of it (2/3)contains the more recent history  from Mahathir till today . IN these pages are  several short stories of as eg  of the founder of Malaysia Kini , the Malaysian annals m, the site

Baraem and commentary on .... (read inside !)

Image
BARAEM Baraem is a children TV channel more particularly for preschool children with Arabic headquarters . IN a short check today I found that this channel is indeed part of al Jazeera and is aired via the 13E Hotbird satellite We used this TVchannel in order to get rid from the possibly ‘destructive’ influence of Winx (if any ) that could be caused with the ‘magics and spells’ and now this is our daughter’s favorite  TV channel (many times she asks for Baraem ) with slightly less interest in Star the nationwide TV channel and she watches it mostly on local afternoons 8 pm ie before she goes to night sleep . This is not exactly the reason to write this article but rather  for the reason you will see at near he end of it So please be patient ! IN this channel you will not watch Sponge Bob or Dora the explorer (though the latter is quite affiliated ) but are many other series possibly more interesting than them . . Since I do nt know Arabic (I am only intending to learn the

MALAY PROVERBS Bidal melayu

Image
MALAY PROVERBS Bidal melayu AW Hamilton and this is the last book from my order for Malay language , written again by A W Hamilton in a size of A5 and layout as wit the books bought and then returned back to Amazon . Tough not noticed anywhere in the book for who is the publishing company, there was only the printing company at the lest rear page in Milton Keynes. I decided to keep the book , as with some minimal research i did not find it in any online library This is a book wit the most simple format with just a short into text and all the proverbs . What surprises me is the 'Romanization ' of the Malay text as it is uses the character ch instead of c (of ejaan batu ) and tak (from tidak )is written as ta’ . That possibly means to me it has been written on end of 19th century or early 20th when Hamilton in between others founded a different Romanization system as Malays have today with ejaan baru Ther are a total of ca 300 proverbs , each proverb is follo

MALAY IDIOMS

Image
MALAY IDIOMS  Yet another book of he March 12 Order for Malay language and  culture written by Hasan Muhammad Ali again from the Singaporean publisher Times Inc and shows  te idioms as a format of compound words And another book with interesting info Chapter 1 is just the introduction Chapter 2 describes idioms as like a play with words sh9wing  some examples as with anak engkat (adopted child ) chapter 3 discusses the reason to use the idioms with examples from various texts chapter 4 discusses  the meaning of symbols on how the Malaysians language  is a proverbial language Then on part two it shows the Malaysian idioms with this format : idioms - compound words sorted alphabetically translation or explanation in English re-translation in Malay  an example  its translation  in English  These are a total of 300  expressions . Those times  i had some time to compare it with the book kamus bahasa baku , which is my largest Malay - English dictionary with use

MALAY PANTUNS by A W Hamilton

MALAY PANTUNS  A W Hamilton This is another book of the special order made via Amazon this year (2012 ) on Feb - Mar together with books  related to Malaysia Pantun in this book  is described as " the popular vehicle for the expression of poetic feeling among Malays in a vesicle which is called in their tongue as Pantun , pronounced as pan toone ' Looking a bit  on these pantuns i recognize that : 1. Pantun is actually a quatrain 2. There is a uncommon rhyme , the first and the third line have the same rhyme . same happens with the 2 and 4 th line Consider this pantun  shown in the back of this  rhyme Berapa tinngi pucuk pinang     tinngi lagi asap diri berapa tinngi GUnug Lendang '   tinngi lagi harap hati translated as however high the palm he stretches    higher is the smoke of fire however the Mount Ophir reaches     higher still is my heart's desire So i can suppose the Malays have a good tradition for rhyming their lives As f

STEP BY STEP INDONESIAN COOKING

STEP BY STEP INDONESIAN COOKING  MURDOCH  PUBLICATIONS This book is one of my oldest cooking  recipes  book which I bought on  90s in UK  when  I  visited  London for 5 th  time! I was  the filler  person for a group of 3  to visit London and Paris , and I think that I bought it from Dillons  book mega-store in Charing Cross (I dunno does this store still  exist? I didn’t find any web page from them in the web  ) This book  could be better  called as leaflet of 60 pages  with the same size  with the previous books ,but the most important  difference is the color and the  illustration . as the  publisher is Murdoch , it has the  design of a newspaper  with 3 columns  , with  4 photos  for the step by step and a  full-page picture   in the right pane  with the finished  recipe. And a small  colored box shows  the  ingredients . The  second page shows many things:  a conversion between  Australian and British systems , a mini glossary , a  recipe  simplicity mar

Thai cookery secrets

Thai  cookery secrets  by Chris Dhillon Something  tht you possibly not know  is that I also  cook sometimes . But please  bear in minf that  I prefer to  cook rather  Asian  cuisine  than local . I do it more than 15 years ago  and I also have a wok  but for electricity  rather for gas (which I do nt have ) This  book is one of the ca 100 books  of Asian cooking and one of my most recent purchases  via Amazon   this June . Tough  bought that time this is the first  time I made a recipe from this book Now I ma returning back to this book  and the recipe I made , which  consisted  from prawns (though fresh  was required by the recipe  I used  frozen! ), garlic , grated lime  zest (??? I used lemon rind instead ) red chili (I used sambal olek instead ) ginger cumin oil and lime juice , and still the recipe was delicious I am now  to describe  the book  with its structure  with first some intro :  Chris(ine ) Dhillon  promises with this book to cook delicious cu

MALAY CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS

Image
MALAY  CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS digging little more in my malay boooks collection this is  the oldeest of these books , of my age! (1963) Look at the photo below I am not sure when i boght this book but must be about 6 years ago , I found i think via internet  from a local bookstore in UK involving old books, and seemingly scarce and is the first edition IN the preface the writer mentions two important  Proverbs 'lain lubok lain ikan nya' (each region it its distinct customs ) as a difficulty  to register he local procedures One more important proverb noticed there is biar niah anak , jangan mati adat (ew prefer to lose a child  than a custom ) This book is a 128 page book  wit paper reminding type of old newspaper. Size is smaller than A5 and by context is by far the  most detailed reference book for customs , especially for Malay  ethics. Here i  will show you the structure of the book  without going into details . and only for the human ethics (not

Book: Malay customs and etiquette

Malay customs and etiquette By Datin NOor Aini Syed Amir  (DNASA ) Mrs DNASA  for short as referred in the book is the daughter of a diplomat and wife of a prince . and as referred in the book she has a log history of writing  from her youth and lives in Perlis This is one of the books ordered in April this year via Amazon . I had the chance the previous days to have a semi fast  reading of this book that consists of ca90 pages that have been rad in ca 2 hours ! The text is quite simply written with very few unknown words to me , that I skipped , and made for the sake for writing this article. The book is written in early 90s in S’pore  by time books with a foreword by Saizuddin Chik  minister of Culture  in Msia  ,though all photos  are of the 60s era  (for Greece) This book goes with basic insights on Malaysian customs. IN contrast to the other books referred before , it digs deeper  into the etiquette  on  what is necessary  for the foreigner  to know (dressing
